Letters from families
Thank you cards we will never throw away.
Families write to us after the hardest weeks of their lives. We keep every card on the wall of the office. We have typed some of them here, with the names of the people we cared for removed and signatures reduced to initials, out of respect for their privacy.
A big thank you to you all for the dedication and effort you all put in to make her as comfortable as possible during the last few months of her life. We are, and always will be, grateful for your help and support at that very difficult time. A job well done and much appreciated.
To the team of ladies who took such wonderful care of our mum during her final illness. We would like to express our eternal gratitude for the wonderful care of our mum, and the care and reassurance you gave to our family too. We know Mum couldn't have been in safer hands.
We all just wanted to say how much you not only helped Dad but also all of us. We can't thank you enough. Your caring ways are appreciated so much.
Just wanted to write to you all personally to say a big thank you to your wonderful carers who looked after my dad last week as he came home from hospital to spend his final days at home. Every carer who nursed him and cared for him treated him with dignity and respect, and always respected his privacy. Each one also treated myself and my brother respectfully and always answered our questions and concerns politely and truthfully. They are all truly wonderful and we shall miss their visits and support. You are very fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated staff working for you.
The thought of having carers for the first time was daunting, but having you look after her was one of the biggest blessings. Thank you all for treating her as if she was one of your own family members, for checking in on us as a family and showing such care and compassion. You are all truly amazing and we are eternally grateful. She thought the world of you all; thank you for bringing such happiness to her in such tough times.
I just wanted to say a big thank you for your care of him. It was only three visits as he quickly deteriorated, but I appreciate that he was treated with dignity and gently. Special thanks to Angie, Ella and Sabrina.
Thank you to the team for all the care, support and compassion given during the short time you visited. It made such a difference and was appreciated. Heartfelt thanks.
You're all stars! Thank you all so much for all the time and care you gave to my mom in her final stages of life, and for making it so peaceful. I will be forever grateful. You are an amazing team of people.
My heroes. Thank you all for the care given to my husband; he always had a smile for the girls. You were all a big help to me too, and the dog misses her friends. You are all amazing.

Sharon and her team cared for my mum for over three months. Everyone was friendly, polite, extremely helpful and treated Mum with the respect she deserved at a very sad time. They cheered her up when she was feeling low and laughed with her on the good days. We couldn't have wished for a better group of carers. Sharon even covered a few nights so that I could have a rest. I don't think I could have managed without you.

Thank you to CSPC, Clare, Nat and the team for arranging an overnight sit for my father at extremely short notice. Thanks Jackie for supporting my mum and looking after my dad.
