This site should work for everyone.
Many of the people who need us have poor eyesight, shaky hands or are simply exhausted. We have tried to build a website that respects that.
What we have done
- Large, clear type using Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision.
- Strong colour contrast throughout, and nothing that relies on colour alone.
- Every page works with a keyboard, a screen reader, and at 200% zoom.
- Big, well-spaced buttons, and a click-to-call phone number on every page.
- Movement is kept to a minimum, and switched off entirely if your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
The Care Quality Commission rating widget is provided by CQC and we cannot change how it looks or behaves. The same information is repeated in plain text beside it.
